Hunan Guiyang County recently announced that the Han Yao Guiyang Mine Integration Project was officially started on July 10th. The project is not only a benchmark for the lithium new energy industry, but also receives wide attention as a provincial key project. The project is located in Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, Guiyang High-tech Zone, non-ferrous science and technology industrial park, with a total investment of up to 12.3 billion yuan, by the Han Yao Group together with a number of domestic new energy industry chain enterprises to build.

The main goal of the project is to build a complete new energy battery industry chain in Chenzhou, Hunan Province, covering the mining of lithium mineral resources, lithium carbonate smelting, anode material production, lithium battery manufacturing, and up to the comprehensive treatment and utilization of tailings. The formation of this industry chain will promote the development of the local new energy industry.

According to the project plan, the project will be implemented in phases. The first phase of the project will build a lithium tailings resource comprehensive recycling production line with an annual processing capacity of 3 million tons. The second phase of the project, on the other hand, plans to invest 1.2 billion yuan for the construction of a lithium carbonate production project with an annual output of 20,000 tons. These initiatives will lay a solid foundation for realizing the closed-loop production of new energy battery industry chain.
