Jiangxi Daily reported that Yichun City, as the main producing area of the country's 30% lithium carbonate production, in the lithium new energy industry occupies an important position, but faces a lack of mature trading market and pricing power challenges. Recently, Yichun City, using the "Yichun Mining lithium products bidding system", successfully organized a domestic lithium carbonate network-wide public bidding sales, aimed at enhancing pricing power.

The event attracted the participation of 25 enterprises from 11 provinces and cities across the country, a total of 192 tons of battery-grade lithium carbonate was sold at 106,200 yuan / ton. Huang Yi, general manager of Yichun Mining Limited Liability Company, said that this initiative not only helps to obtain real market price information, but also strengthens the connection between Yichun and the upstream and downstream enterprises of the national lithium new energy industry chain, and enhances the influence of the industry.

Yichun plans to take this activity as a new starting point, regularize the whole network of lithium products bidding sales, gradually expand the pricing power and the right to speak in the national lithium market, and promote the sustainable and healthy development of lithium new energy industry.
