Filling the Gap of Lithium Resources in Fujian Province Lithium Polymetallic Ore Discovered in Jiang

Recently, the southern area of Jiangle County in Fujian Province has achieved important geological exploration results, and for the first time, a rare metal deposit with lithium as the main element, accompanied by beryllium, niobium, tantalum, rubidium and other elements has been discovered. This discovery not only fills the gaps in the field of lithium resources in Fujian Province, but also further broadens the search space for lithium resources. According to the geological survey experts, the deposit type is granite pegmatite type, which is rich in rare metal elements and high grade, and has important economic value. At present, nine granite pegmatite veins with scale have been found in the investigation area, one of which has been verified by drilling and slotting engineering, with lithium oxide content exceeding 10,000 tons and the average grade reaching 1.13%, showing the potential of medium-sized deposits or above. In addition, seven similar veins have been discovered in the periphery of the mining area, indicating that a large lithium multi-rare metal ore deposit may be explored. This discovery is of great significance in promoting the development of mineral resources and economic development in Jiangle County and even Fujian Province. As a next step, the Natural Resources Bureau of Jiangle County will actively promote the public offering of prospecting rights in this investigation area.
